Look at the fertilityfriends website about tracking your temperature, dont obsess about periods too much as you can ovulate without one and having one doesnt mean you are ovulating. I conceived Noah when I was 36 (he is now 12) so ignore the ticking clock as our egg quality remains better for longer than non pcos ladies so we can conceive much later. Has your partner been tested yet as 1/3 of fertility issues are men. I would get him on the Boots vit c and zinc tablets, this improved my hubbies by over 100% in a year (he had lots of dead and two tailed ones which was a shock as never considered he would have issues as well). As you are 'mature' they should refer you to fertility after 6 months of trying. If you chart your temperature this will help when you go to the fertility clinic.
One thing I would say is I conceived Noah via IUI 2nd attempt and the only difference between the two was I had reflexology once a week between the attempts and my period arrived on the day and to the hour which had never happened to me before so I think it really helped!
Good luck and ignore that clock as you are no where near it yet.
Hello there, I have a very similar problem but I’m 35. I stopped the pill in September and still haven’t had a period. For this reason I got a referral from my GP to a fertility hospital. I had some blood tests done and pelvic ultrasound and it doesn’t seem like a ovulate so I started with Provera to trigger the period, tomorrow I have another test (HyCoSy) and after that hopefully I will start with Clomid soon. My sister has the same condition and had three kids all with Clomid so I am hopeful. I hope you get your investigation starts soon as I know how anxious it can be just not knowing what is happening, what’s normal and what to expect. Good luck!
