Hi Laides,

Just wondering if any one has tried the Keto diet? (High fat low carbs) read about this the other day and it seems very geared to low carbs, low insulin etc...but the high fat part of it is throwing me off!

Be interested to see what people think 😊 x

I honestly have no idea! I'm confused between the Keto Diet and GI Diet or is that the same thing? My doctor told me the best diet to get on for PCOS is the Diabetic Diet.

I do GI generally but also do full fat everything so not of the low fat stuff as it is full of sugar, I don't eat carbs at night any more so I am on really few carbs (I mean like pasta bread etc) I have carbs that are naturally in veg etc. It does take a little while for your head to get around a bolognaise without the spag but actually I no longer thing about it now!

Thank you 😊 I wasn’t too sure of how much diet can effect PCOS. I was a bit sceptical...But I had two / three months of eating great and my cycles improved so much. Even regulated (slightly but still an improvement!)

Went off the band waggon lately due to weddings, birthdays etc...and my cycle is right back up the swanny! It’s crazy. Guess that’s proved it to myself..😊
