I'm in my final year of high school, and when i went to my gynecologist cause of my aching tummy, he told me I suffered from a mild version of PCOS. He told me that I had to take contraceptive but I do not want to take this. I will definitely gain weight, and this is not really "cool". Does anyone has an alternative method that could help me regulate my period?
Thank you

The pill should not make you gain weight, I never did, you just need to find one to suit you, why do you think you will gain weight, have you tried it before ??
If your pcos gets worse you have a much higher chance of weight gain which in turn make the symptoms much worse. It is important to have 4 periods a year to keep your uterus healthy otherwise this can lead to lots of other issues, including cancer.
