Anyone heard of any help with prescription costs you can get if you have pcos or anything else we may be entitled to via the nhs ?

No its more if you have a chronic condition that means you can pay a one off yearly fee for prescriptions (which I think is £75 or something so if you get a lot of medication then it can help) but things like the contraceptive pill are free anyway. So you need to work out what your costs are prescription wise to whether it is worth doing the yearly one.

Look at the NICE guidelines on PCOS as they advise what to expect PCOS wise and the NHS.

You can get a prepaid prescription card. Either £100 a year or £10 a month for 10 months and 2 months free. That is if the medication is covered by NHS. what medication is it if you don't mind me asking? I've recently being diagnosed with pcos and looking for treatment options.

There isnt a specific prescription as ive just been diagnosed i just wondered if pcos was one where you could get cheaper prescriptions
