Correlating symptoms?

Hey so I have pcos and I think I have hypothyroidism but the doctors say it's fine even though I have all the symptoms. But I was wondering if there are symptoms of pcos that are exactly the same as pcos and could be the reason so I don't actually have hypothyroidism at all? Has anyone else experienced this? Any advice is appreciated

Hi, did they do a blood test to check your tsh levels? I have pcos and am hypothyroid. I was diagnosed with hypo first. A blood test was done at the gp but they said it was ok even though it was at 4.8. I had to plead with my gp to send me to a endocrine doctor. At the hospital more tests were done and i was diagnosed. Sometimes you need to TELL the gp. They dont always listen. You can also chose which hospital you want ti be referred to. I was being seen at newham general in east london but wasnt happy so asked to be seen at st thomas'. The best decision i ever made.

Hi! I have PCOS and possibly a thyroid condition too but it hasn't been diagnosed yet. I display all the symptoms and have high thyroid antibodies. If you have PCOS you are more lively to get thyroid issues but not always. Get a full thyroid panel blood test done 😊
