Venetoclax
I had to stay in the hospital en started wit
venetoclax
and rituximab. I did very well on that for 2 years. they were the best from my CLL journey. 2 months ago I had to stop with
venetoclax
because the 24 months were passed. After 3 weeks I already felt swollen lymph nodes on my neck.

persistent expectoration + venetoclax
Dear all, has anyone been taking
venetoclax
and gotten a kind of persistent expectoration and sometimes a cough, especially at night? I still haven't figured out if it's related to the
venetoclax
or the cortisone I'm taking because of my kidneys. Thank you and kind regards.

Burning tongue and metallic taste .
Had FCR, Ibrutinib, and
Venetoclax
. I am on
Venetoclax
now for 18 months after 6 times of V+O. A year ago I lost my taste sense and everything tastes metallic, but the worse is a burning tongue sensation. Does it have any connetion to CLL or

CLL along with hemolysis
My
Venetoclax
dose has been changed a number of times due to counts. Last few weeks have been 300mg and blood has been pretty normal except for platelets which have often been low but are now 88 - with everything else pretty much in line.

Very worried about Mom
She had stopped taking
venetoclax
since Sunday. They are giving her antibiotics but her blood counts are out of whack. Rbc are all low and her wbc is slightly high. So I have a couple of questions. Her doctor said to immediately stop the
venetoclax
(which she did before he told us).

ITP worse after CLL reactivated. 2,5 years after stopping Venetoclax/Rituximab with Umrd. Has anyone tried N-plate? Other options?
Ramping up
Venetoclax
again to treat CLL. Specialist dr mentioned maybe try N-plate (other trombopotein) if thrombocytes start to fall again. Has anyone tried or heard of anyone with CLL using this? Any other suggestions?

2nd gen BCL-2 inhibitor in trials and looking promising -- Sonrotoclax (BGB-11417)
Zanubrutinib given for 8-12 weeks prior I would think to lessen the chance of TLS, and there were 0 reports of TLS, so seems like a good strategy 1) 100% ORR 2) 100% PFS 3) 10x the potency over
venetoclax
4) 4 hour half-life -- this is a very short half life compared to 26 hours of
venetoclax
.

Real-world incidence and prevention of tumor lysis syndrome (TLS) in chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) treated with venetoclax. From MSK
We aimed to determine the incidence of and risk factors for TLS among patients with CLL/small lymphocytic lymphoma (SLL) who received treatment with
venetoclax
at our institution from 1/1/2016 to 12/31/2020. We included 616
venetoclax
escalations among 136 pts with CLL.

Update on FIL -Venetoclax as a Monotherapy, Pancytopenia and Myelodysplasia
There is no CLL in the bone marrow so the
venetoclax
obviously did its job. However, because his need for transfusions hasn't improved and the Myelodysplasia appears to have got worse they are not putting him back on the

Richter's and Novel Treatments/Combinations
From the limited data available in this study, patients with prior
venetoclax
exposure for CLL had lower likelihood of achieving CR than those who were
venetoclax
naïve (13% vs 40%). Survival outcomes remained poor overall.

Next Game Changer??
Will the next CLL drug that will be a “game changer” be a BTK inhibitor that lasts longer, a more powerful version of
Venetoclax
that provides longer and deeper remissions, a combination of an existing drug and a new version of
Venetoclax
, or an entirely new class of CLL drug such as a degrader?

Rash that won’t go away
I’m on the Pirtobrutinib ,
Venetoclax
, Obinutuzumab trial for Richters. The rash looks like a salmon color bruise. It doesn’t hurt, itch, or change in size. There is no other rash on my body. It’s a curiosity that I wonder if anyone else has experienced?

Neutropenia
My
Venetoclax
will be reduced if I go below. This is first hiccup in my treatment. Has this happened to anybody else? How worried should I be. Every other number was great and I no longer have anemia.
