From the website:

"About Vivian

To make as much money as possible from the misfortune as others?

It seems there's some scientific contradiction in her ideas:

I'm quite sure there are some potential benefits from some types of exercise, certain natural additives and alternative therapies. However, I'd be very wary of stopping prescribed bone density maintenance drugs (as she suggests) without consulting your consultant in advance.

I WILL 'go through', to pages sometime, a bit 'heavy going' though!! Still good that someone has corillated (is that right?) the info.

I'm a nurse and have worked eight years as a research assistant actually doing research in fact the specific area of research we (Dr B. West, C. Macduff & myself M.McBain) were involved with was using well designed research tools to do our research and always took into consideration both research paradigms (quantitive and qualitative) therefore giving more credible results than using research which only belongs to one paradigm (mainly the pure sciences e.g. medicine). I've looked through "save our bones" and could quite happily give a critical review - but don't worry I won't.

I have WG's, diagnosed nine years ago and now on Methotrexate, Pred along with some others. I did put on 3st in weight with the Pred but have lost it all, eat a very healthy diet, don't take caffeine, alcohol is very much limited, practice Yogo and walk/jog when family life allows.

I've had two maybe three Dexa scans over the years which have showed that I have excellent done density for a woman my age (50 + yrs) so do not need to take any anti-osteoporsis tabs and have just done the Balmoral 10K and not too sure what my next challenge will be. Mo McBain:)
