Guest Speaker Dr Mike Venning (Consultant Renal Physician at Manchester Royal) Topic:- Coming Together:- patients, clinicians and researchers. Dr Nina Brown, also from Manchester Royal, will now be joining Dr Mike Venning.
There will also be the Vasculitis UK launch of the "Route Map for Vasculitis" by Patricia Frearnside. Jessica Burke Project Manager from Genetic Alliance (who has facilitated the process) will be there along with Prof Lorraine Harper and Dr Matthew Morgan both from Birmingham University Hospital, to support Patricia with the launch.
As part of the chairman's report John Mills will be talking about the Government's Strategy for Rare Diseases.
Light buffet lunch will be provided 12.15 pm start. No charge for attending or for refreshments but contributions towards the cost of the refreshments will be greatly appreciated.
