Hi, Me again lol. I'm having problems with numbness and tingling on certain parts of my body. I have fluid retention and nerve damage in my left leg from disc problems in my back.
I have been having numbness and tingling that doesn't feel like what I normally have. It's in different parts of my leg rather than the whole the whole leg. Now I am having the same thing on the side of my stomach. Does anyone else have the same issue? I have GPA and am currently on azathioprine, prednisone and Co trimoxazole.

I've recently developed tingling and a feeling of numbness in the toes on my right foot. I'm not sure if it's GPA related or not and will mention it at my next clinic appointment in October. Ive had a numbness sensation in the right side of my face for a few years now. A head scan was clear so I'm not sure what that is. The trouble with have this condition you don't know what's related to it or not. I'm currently in remission ( I hope!)Hope you find out the cause of your changes soon.
i have numbness in my feet and lower part of legs . i started getting this 3 year s ago when i was diagnosed with GPA and was told by the doctor it was caused by Kidney damage and unfortunately very rarely will your nerves repair .i take Gabapentin to help however its always there.hope this so comfort Ian
I have EGPA and on Pred..just c5ame off Aza as I had a bad reaction to it. Certainly get numbness in hands and feet and tingling in legs. Also pins and needles whereever I rest arms legs etc even on a pillow. Not sure that helps except to say you are not alone and we all feel for tou
Not related to the numbness, but I just notice that you’re on co-trimoxizole. When I was diagnosed initially, I was put onto that but as soon as I started on azathioprine, my co-trimoxizole was discontinued. I was told that I couldn’t take both at the same time. I presume it’s because one is fighting infection and the other one is trying to keep your immune system suppressed.
Hi, I also get numbness in my hands and feet, which the consultant said was a result of nerve damage and is unlikely to get better . It does cause me a lot of pain and affects my walking and it is difficult to stand for any length of time. I also get numbness in my left thigh which feels very strange and again if I stand for any length of time, if doing the ironing, then I lose all feeling and is a bit of disconcerting. Since getting GPA my body has completely changed and I am very slowly realising that things probably will never be like before. Take care 😊
I have GPA and I get numbness and tingling too, in feet, legs, back and face/scalp. I have had nerve conduction tests which confirmed damage to the nerves. Unlike other vasculitis symptoms it seems to be permanent
