The Versus Arthritis Research Highlight of the Year competition is open. We have supported one of these research projects and it is the first to collect data on the care of vasculitis patients.

I call you to vote for it (Vote for: 9. The VOICES study) , I feel it is important to show that we are interested in anything that will create data to improve our care, to change the system, to get our voices heard. And to show to Versus Arthritis that it is important to continue funding research for vasculitis.

Vote for:

9. The VOICES study

The VOICES study has identified key components of effective care for people with vasculitis. This includes timely access to services, integrated care, and expert support. They found that shorter waiting times and nurse-led clinics were linked to better patient outcomes, including fewer serious infections and emergency hospital admissions. The findings suggest that improving healthcare models for rare diseases can enhance patient care by addressing these critical service components and fostering collaboration among healthcare providers.

I know and I don't really understand it, but that's what the organisation decided. Do you have a friend or a family member that could vote on your behalf?

I know it is a problem, but that's what Versus Arthritis decided to do. Unfortunately, we cannot do anything about it. Frustrating, isn't it?
