I only caught a small part of the PM press conference on the ‘virus’ and I thought I heard him say that 95% of the population will contract the virus - is this right?

I didn't see it all but I don't think there is any way to know how many WILL get it, although in the absence of any natural immunity or vaccine with such a contagious virus 95% isn't impossible if day-to-day life continued unmodified.
The figures I have heard is that 60% need to get it to acquire herd immunity - i.e. enough people are immune to reduce the circulation of the virus. I had always thought the figure was higher.
