We have just returned from the 3 day annual European Vasculitis Course, (EUVAS) which was held in Cambridge this year.

John Mills, as a Vasculitis UK patient representative, was asked to open the course by Prof David Jayne, with a welcoming address. Prof Peter Merkel from the USA and Prof David Jayne closed the course at the finish of the 3 days.

VUK were also asked to bring the VUK “mobile” stand with us. 😊

Around 200 doctors attended this course, plus 32 speakers, they were from England, Scotland, Ireland, France, Spain, Portugal, Germany, Netherlands, Italy, Austria, Turkey and India. They came together to share knowledge and experience but also to learn more about vasculitis and its treatments. The programme was extremely busy and covered all types of vasculitis, even the extremely rare types. It was a stimulating and an exciting few days. There will be a full report in the VUK Autumn Newsletter.

I would be very grateful to know the name of the Doctor from India who attended the EUVAS. I can feel a deterioration in my condition but can’t seem to find the right specialist.
