MORE 'Scams', I'm afraid😡. This time allegedly from 'Apple....their App Store'. A, to me anyway, 'Quite Believable' Invoice, was sent, to my Email 'in Box'. It had an ID Number, Invoice Number, Payment Details along with a LOT of 'Other' information. So YES, I DID, 'believe' this- enough to phone Apple anyway. I spoke to a VERY helpful man, named Daniel, who took all the 'Details' I had. He then requested, other information, that I DIDN'T have.
Yes, you guessed it, this WAS a Scam! Daniel explained that- Firstly ALL genuine Apple Bills/ Invoices would be in the correct Currency, for that country- my bill was in Dollars. There was also some information, that Apple always include, Crucially 'Missing'. There wasn't a correct 'Apple' Header/ Logo, on this 'Invoice'. There were some Other, more minor points, that didn't Match either. Daniel is going to send me a 'Link', to a Fraud Service, so that I can Forward the 'Bill' onto them. This Was a 'Scam' but the Genuine Apple, especially Daniel, were VERY HELPFUL INDEED! Top Marks to Apple✔👍
