Without a referral from another physician, I was able to see a neuro -ophthalmologist because rheumatologist did not seem very concerned about an incident of temporary vision loss I have mentioned. I know this can happen with both GCA and GPA. After a duplex doppler imaging of eye orbits, an occluded small vein in retina found. Luckily carotid arteries open. But what other damage is happening?
