Has anyone found anything that helps with their Vasculitis symptoms?

I have changed my diet to a gluten free one (see details in another post) but I wondered if anyone had found anything else that helps with their Vasculitis?

It would be really interesting/helpful to know what else others have discovered that helps them manage their symptoms.

Hi, I found that if I cut acid out of my diet as far as possible then my joints felt better. It involved drinking a cup of cider vinegar 'which was a permitted acid' and honey with hot water, it took a few attemps for me to become accoustomed to the taste and I began t love the drink. this diet tis advocated in alot of arthritis books and I'm sure you'd be able to find the details on line.

I just changed my diet to a sensible eating regime, eating fresh produce mostly plain fish, chicken, fruit, yoghurt and vegetables. I also add organic flaxseed to some of my meals and have one pharmaceutical grade Omega 3 capsule every day. I really tried, but failed, to reduce my coffee intake. I'm sure if I could do that I would feel even better. I found that this regime helped me lose weight, and improved my physical and mental wellbeing.

I cut out almost all wheat, eat lots of frest fruit and vegetables with main meals including only a small amount of protein (Fish, chicken, pulses) but no red meat.

I'm very careful about what I eat and make all my own meals from scratch. My dietry vice is salt I'm afraid and yes I know not good!!

Interestingly A friend sent me an article that linked drinking coke with vasculitis. I don't drink it but interesting none the less.

I just read a question about @gluten', a few 'posts ago' perhaps John or Susan might be able to help?

Good luck anyway

after 7 years i haven't managed to find anything that helps me massively, the key for me is just trying to keep calm and relaxed but that's difficult.

i haven't changed anything diet wise.. but using dead sea salt in a warm bath for some reason has been amazing.. when i feel like im going to have a flare ill use it and it completely calms myself and i read that this salt has a big impact on body/mind. i only use a small amount though and no after products after the bath.
