Vasculitis & the tongue

Hi all,

Recently Ive had a oral check up with my dentist. Some pictures were taken due to finding a large mass of superficial pigmentation under my tongue, & where the main vein is. My veins either side are blue & bulging. Which she said she was concerned about. She's sent the pictures to facial surgeon I'm just waiting to hear what happens next. She said she was a little worried as it looked sinister in nature..

She mentioned it could be another disease or apart of "vasculitis" who knows

I left her office in tears.

Hey Ludo, this rollercoaster is making me dizzy ! I honestly haven't felt so bad in awhile My acid reflux has gotten so bad at night that I wake up chocking and coughing. I am having a gastroscopy tomorrow at QEBH

I'm really anxious about it ! Opted for sedation just hope it works !

Sat 29th July I went QE for a abdominal ultrasound and she said i need another scan on my stomach, as it's an issue with my stomach and large bowel that is causing this. So tomorrow despite not wanting to have it done I must because something is definitely wrong inside my digestive tract.

Thur I'm at QE again to see the ENT surgeon & Prof Loraine Harper. I'll find out what I have... 🤞🏻xx

Good luck with all your tests Laura, be thinking of you. Be God when it's over and you can relax. Hope you get some answers soon. Be good to hear what Prof Harper has to say. X
