Hi everyone.. Went to the doctor yesterday and put me back on prednisone and wants me to try low dose naltrexone.. She said that will replace the prednisone. I was going to take methotrexate.. Is this better? Has anyone had good results with it? Thanks for any help with this...

Interesting! I also have erythromelalgia (secondary to Rheumatoid Arthritis and vasculitis) and the patient chat room was talking about low dose Naltrexone and how it helped them. Is it a consultant giving it to you or your GP? my GP did not feel she was able to give it.

There is no evidence that I am aware of in support of low dose naltrexone as a treatment for Vasculitis or any other auto immune disease.
LDN, is licensed for use in MS in the UK.
You can put Low Dose Natrexolone in your search engine and read up about it. It was developed in the states at Stanford University Research dept and it was originally developed for HIV. It a very good read.
