My husband was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Vasculitis two years ago. I am sure he has had it longer. He was very, very poorly and hospitalised after eventually being correctly diagnosed. He is currently on prednisolone, sulfasalazine, gabapentin, hydroxychloroquine and rituximab infusions (quarterly). He was on methotrexate but it did not agree with him.
He is constantly tired, has headaches, tummy and joint aches. He is also sick occasionally, has diahorrea and has the rash on his legs. He also suffers with painful feet. I worry so much about him. He still works and I don't know how he gets the strength to get out of bed every morning, but he does. I think this keeps him going. He does see a specialist/nurse regularly.
I am still learning about Vasculitis and would be grateful if anyone could please let me know if anything could help with the sickness and headaches. I would appreciate any advice at all which would help him. Thank you so much
