Warts getting worse

Has anyone else got loads of warts?

If so what do you do about them,

I know it is because I'm on azathiiprine

I think if they are increasing in number I should talk to your doctor about them just to be on the safe side.

Dear Julie,

Yes do talk to your Doctor but if they are just 'Warts'/'Skin Tags', as mine are then I'm afraid that you are a bit 'stuck' with them. That said you can get them frozen, or burned, off (for this you will need to speak to your G.P., in the first instance). Ask for a referral, to a Dermatologist-preferably at the Hospital you are under. He, or she, will then give you a thorough examination, which may well, involve rather a lot of 'poking and prodding'-but hey we are all 'used to' that, aren't we? Having establishes what the actual cause is, in my case a virus that is spreading under my skin (not helped by all the imuno-suppressants I take) (s)he can then arrange treatment. Please do be aware that burning/freezing, of Warts/Tags/Blemishes etc., does NOT cure the underlying problem. All that said a course of suitable treatment will make you both look, and indeed, feel much better.

I do hope that the above is helpful, to you, Julie-even if it doesn't provide a 'cure' exactly. Trust me when I say that I DO fully understand your problems here-I think we all do, in point of fact.

Hi I used to have loads of warts all over my fingers - tried all sorts of potions but all of a sudden they just disappeared. I have WG but not on aza. Hope this helps
