We know about Andrew as his story will be on the Vasculitis UK website in the next few days. He is an inspiration for so many diagnosed with WG (GPA)

We also know of others who have WG (GPA) who also have inspirational stories to tell and have taken part in marathons, triathlons and cycling, and also cycling from John O'Groats to Lands End and back again.

Andrew was very lucky as his WG was diagnosed fairly quickly and he was also coming from a position of being very fit and active to start with, he was already a marathon runner.

It says in the article only 1 per million are affected by WG (GPA) which is not quite correct. It is probably nearer 130 cases per one million here in the UK.
