Inflammation! Any suggestions about ways to help reduce it?

I have PMR and Giant Cell Arteritis. I think the inflammation is in my joints, muscles and arteries. Is it wise to reduce the inflammation or is inflammation the body's wonderful and wise way of healing the problem?

Depends how far you want the inflammation to go, WMTuk! Our immune systems are wonderful when they behave but not when they forget what they're meant to attack and turn against perfectly good bits of our bodies!
