Hi the agenda looks interesting but im a bit disappointed in the location. I'd prefer it to be located somewhere that was more accesible by train - birmingham, derby, manchester? thanks
Hi Katie, wherever & whenever we hold the AGM for a national charity, it will be convenient for some & inconvenient for others. Don't think we haven't discussed it. Where we hold the AGM is roughly the geographic centre & it's close to the M1 - most people come by car. City centre venues (near stations)are not popular with them - parking is often difficult. We hold trustee meetings in Derby, near the station, but they do not have a large enough room for an AGM and we do also have to consider the cost of the venue. But we will look at the issue again.
