Itchy ear

I have really bad itchy in my ears . anyone recommend any ointment please. I can’t use drops because I have hole in my ear drum. dr gave me steroids ointment but didn’t work then they gave me tablets also no help. Now they said they can’t do anything 😢. My T also loud always change. ears painful. So many difficulties. god knows what’s happen next. really disappointed 😢.

Hi, I have had itchy ears for some time and also can’t use drops so I bought some olive oil for ears from chemist, and just put a few drops on an ear bud and gently wipe the inside of ear, it works for me, hope that helps.

Thank you Yoga62 but I have big hole in my ear. Is it okay to use olive oil?

I put the olive oil drops on an ear bud and gently wipe just inside the ear but not deep, the ear drum is deep in the ear but I am not a doctor so maybe it’s best to check, the pharmacist was very good and said it should work,

I was prescribed some time ago drops which are for ear irritation ,it was basically salted water, but didn’t do anything, that wouldn’t be any good for you as you can’t have drops, the one I use is called Ear ole, ( I know, it’s funny )and just a few drops on an ear bud gently wiped just inside the ear works well for me, hope you find a solution.

sorry, forgot to say make sure you go to a chemist and ask for olive oil ear drops, it’s more refined than cooking olive oil and is a natural product.

try the ACS comfort cream used to lubricate ears before ear plugs it really helps with my itchy ears

I get infection last week and dr gave me antibiotics. some watery fluid dropping my ear. it’s not stopping 😢 also itchy.
