A good day out for T sufferers

Folks. as you know some days out can be an endurance session. I recently went to Bletchley Park, the home of the WW2 code breakers. It was a fantastic day. They give you audio headphones and you can use them when you walk about. The volume is adjustable so can be set at a comfortable level. There are lots of videos to watch that takes your mind of the T. There are lectures to listen to that are fascinating and again, take your mind of the T. I enjoyed the interactive things that kept me busy. Nothing is too loud with no unexpected "bangs".

The grounds are very nice with a great big fountain in the middle of the lake. This was good for our picnic lunch as the running water helped with the T.

Bletchley is not great for young kids but 12 + should enjoy it.

All in all, this is worth a visit and is certainly very kind for both T and H.

Regards to all.

Ade

Hi Ade, agree with you, Bletchley Park is amazing. Though I did visit before I got the tinnitus. Nice and interesting places equals distraction from our T.
