Hi David. Maybe it's the weather lol. I had a really bad spike on Monday, yesterday was a little better but today it's come back with a vengeance. Worst it's been for ages. Like the poster says - Keep Calm and Carry On.

I do think the weather is an issue, in my case indirectly. When mine is bad I find gardening helps enormously, as you're concentrating on something else and extra sensory impressions (breeze on face, smell of vegetation) are a good distraction. But no gardening at the moment, due to the weather...

Hi David,

The weather might be the cause and it can lower your mood also.

Have you increased your meds yet ?

..lots of love glynis

in reply to

Hi Glynis I only take my meds at night I can double the dose if my T gets bad . Love David

I have a collection of comedy films, films that give me a good old chuckle. So when i am feeling a bit low i find it good to watch one. Alternatively i love to listen to some really nice music. Have you listened to the discs with the sound of waves crashing on the beach or the sound of a thunderstorm with the rain lashing down.

Pete.

Hi Pete I listen to nature sounds when my T is bad & I enjoy listening to music it all helps to get through your days & nights.David

Hi Dave

Sorry you going through it mate, it is just not fair. Have you read Michaels article. Tinnitus a personnel view.

If you haven't I think that you should.

Cheers mate Gary

Hi David, just catching up with the forum and sorry you're having a bad time of it. Hope today's been better. I certainly recommend you read Michael's document as to understand T is part way to dealing with the beast. It is so difficult not to continually think about the noise in our ears/head and yet that thinking is what stops us habituating. All day yesterday when away from home with many distractions I didn't hear it. Today, when on the train back home, and when I remembered that I had T , the noise came back and hasn't gone away. Such a nuisance and we're all in it together. Love Angela xx
