Until now my bloods tests have been measured using the ranges quoted on the Thyroid UK web site. Now they have been changes. Does anyone know who still measures using the Thyroid UK ranges?

Hi Jackie,

Different areas have different ranges because the labs purchase them from different companies. Before selling the kits, the companies test the tests on people in certain areas (not sure where) and this is why the ranges vary.

What you need to do is see wherebouts you are in the range of the test you have had done. The NHS in your area have perhaps changed the company they are purchasing the tests from.

Not what you're looking for?
