Thyroid UK don't recommend self-medicating. Is there anyway you could see one o the private doctors on TUK's list who would be able to prescribe/monitor you? Clare xx

Oh ok, ive started on b12 and folate as the gp isn't bothering with it as thery are in range but low, i just thought maybe i could try myself, maybe getting ahead of myself, im hoping to see dr p soon x

Thanks, can b12 vitimins make you feel a lil sicky at first? i heard you cant over do it on these as it comes out of your urine?

I take B12 5000mc and so does my daughter. I have no ill effects at all, but they do make my daughter feel sickly, so yes, I suppose they do in some people.

You won't overdose on B12 as they are a water soluble vitamin.x
