I need your help and opinions please. I have just been diagnosed with diabetes (high sugar levels)
I have never had high sugar levels before. but my doctor has just told me that I am diabetic (just) which now means I am having to deal with twice the symptoms. here is the story.
After three years of getting no where with my doctor. and getting fed up of his only advice which was to take more tramadol. to help with the complete body pain I suffer. a year ago I could hardly walk, but after I made a decision to up thyroxine from 125 to 150. I improved greatly. but still not enough. so a year later (6 weeks ago) I put my meds up again from 150 to 175. and my pain has decreased by 80%. (bloods below) next step get T3 meds.
Anyway my point is this. If anyone out there has the answers, I have read up on the connection between thyroid and glucose resistance. I believe the raise in my thryroxine has hyped my blood sugars. how do I counteract that?
All ideas welcome.
