Against levo's approx £4.50!! That's why they are reluctant but instead they don't realise that we have extra prescriptions for pain, depression, palpitations, etc. etc. because they don't know clinical symptoms and only go by TSH results.

Yes compared to the cost of levo that is a lot higher!! Im on t3 which i buy myself which is not far off that price but with a private prescription my t3 would cost me around £400 per month!!!

I really do not know how they can sell T3 at such an extortionate price.

Hi Prices vary a lot and depend on the Dollar ( USA) but some places vary by as much as £100. I have always found Springfield by post the best price. 020 8255 8096, dedicated line Mon, Tues, Thurs and Fis, 10am to 12 noon. They sell a great deal, also Erfa etc.21/01/2013 I paid £53, 61 p for 100 2 grain, always better to buy larger Tabs and cut, much cheaper,They do not charge for dispensing them.
