Buying T3 through private prescription in the UK

Hi

if you are getting your T3 through a private prescription in the UK please could you DM me and let me know how much it costs please.

I am currently buying it from Germany and I am not sure it’s that strong.

The least expensive licensed T3 in the UK is Roma - available in 5, 10 and 20 microgram capsules.

The NHS prices are £55, £65 and £55 for 28 capsules respectively. Private prices will be higher but the actual price can vary by pharmacy - there is no real alternative to contacting them and asking.

On prescription, this doesn't need to be by private message.

Most members on T3 tablets via private prescription are getting Thybon Henning 20mcg tablets via specialist U.K. pharmacies

Cost is 50-60p per tablet

Sold in boxes of 100 tablets

Many people then cut 20mcg into smaller doses spread through the day

Roma capsules can’t be split

I am taking Receptura from Germany and I am not sure it’s very effective as I am taking 45mcg per day and my t3 is mid range.

There is little good research on delayed/slow release liothyronine. Difficult to know how much effect that has on delivery of the active ingredient as compared against standard release products.

Ring round for prices. Some charge extra for delivery.

One of them won't take credit cards but wants you to set up a direct debit - doesn't seem to be a good idea to me. Why should I give them my bank details? Credit cards have some built in security.
