Have you looked at the private testing info on the main Thyroid UK website? At least one of the labs has info about testing in London. Info here

Thank you for your replies

the only one i can see is Noviche BioScience and they are not based in london but they come to you, if i understand correctly

i was hoping for a clinic also i dont understand the cost i think its 55 pound is it for each level i want tested

also is there anything else i should get tested i read somewhere about reverse t3 who would need this tested?

Did you look at this page that specifically states:

If London is within your reach, you can also get your Blue Horizon blood tests done at the clinic in Wimpole Street.

thyroiduk.org.uk/tuk/testin...

On that same page, it says the same company also do home blood test kits, meaning you can do it all from the comfort of your own home and not have to go anywhere, except to post the samples back to them.

If you want to obtain the Thyroid UK discounts available on some of the tests, you need to click the link on that same page to download the relevant information.

Thank you for bearing with me

I did see that but did not click on it as the address looked like for devon plymouth. Thanks for the heads up

i cant seem to make sense of the costs it looks like its going to cost about 200 and 15 pounds to have the blood taken

the Noviche BioScience says 55 pounds but is that just to have the blood taken or for the test as well

i think i will have to just phone and ask

thank you once again

You still seem to be very confused about this. I will try again to explain more clearly :)

If you choose to use Blue Horizon, the company that I referred to above for your tests, you do NOT need to also use Noviche Bioscience.

You have two choices:

1) Order the tests you want on their website.

Then go along to the clinic in Wimpole Street where they will draw the blood and do the tests you ordered.

You will receive the test results by email.

The cost will be £39.95 to draw the blood, plus the cost of whichever tests you want.

or

2) Order the special home test kits.

These are called finger prick test kits.

You do NOT need anyone to draw the blood for you.

You receive special device (called a lancet) with which to prick the end of your finger. You then push drops of blood from your finger into the little tube provided.

You then post the tubes back to them and they test the blood and email the results to you.

There is no fee to draw the blood with these as you are drawing it yourself by pricking and squeezing your finger :)

This is the link for the london clinic tests

bloodtestslondon.com

You will see on that page it says:

**Call our Nursing team on 0207 127 0703 for friendly advice and assistance** So you could phone them if you need any further help on this.

This is the link for the home finger prick tests

homebloodtests.co.uk/

I can't say exactly what the costs will be as I don't actually know which tests you're going to choose. Depending on the tests you choose, you can also get discounts by typing in the special codes from the Thyroid UK leaflet which you can download by clicking this link:

thyroiduk.org.uk/tuk/testin...

Hope that helps?
