Red outline on my neck.

I have a red outline on my neck, it mimics the shape of my thyroid, It is just like someone has drawn on my neck with a red felt tip pen, not coloured in, just the outline, the exact shape and position of my thyroid! It's been there a few years now, even before I wa diagnosed with underactive thyroid. I never goes away, I sense people looking at the picture on my neck! Does anyone else have this problem? I did used to get a red area over my thyroid but not just an outline. No longer have a thyroid now. Strange!

Is it hot to the touch. itcy, raised wheals like nettle rash?

... yes had a white butterfly in the same place which I had to carefully colour in with weak fake tan to match my skin !! It suddenly disappeared once treated.....must have been a signal....x

Hi Ravenhex, No it isn't hot itchy or raised, it's just there every day, just like a felt tip pen, tracing the thyroid area on my neck. My doctor said maybe I was on a to higher dose of Levo, and it would go, I have dropped from 125mg to 100mg but the red outline is still there. My symptoms tell me that I need 125mg, all of us know now when we are over/under medicated.

Have you found out anything else? I just started taking Levo and woke up this morning with the same thing on my neck. I can't find any other information on this strange outline.
