Thyroid UK Conference 2011
We have some very exciting news! On the 22nd October 2011 Thyroid UK are celebrating their 10 year anniversary with a conference. We have chosen a beautiful venue, Gilwell park, Chingford - towntocountry.co.uk/gilwell... The exact itinerary, speakers and tickets are yet to be finalised. Watch this space for updates!
That is great and I'm hoping that I will be able to come , I have spent many happy times at Gilwell helping out with the Brownies , so would bring back some lovely memories Xx Jan

Do you have an idea of when you'll have a first draft agenda?
Will they have any rooms available? If I came down then I'd probably bring my wife and she would go off and do something else but we'd probably stay over night if that was possible.

Hi Paul,
We have a first draft and we are going to be discussing it at our next board meeting which is on 19th Feb. After that, we will be advertising it properly. We have some excellent speakers! 
They do have rooms but there is also a couple of hotels in the area - Travelodge, I think, is one of them. I also think there is a Marriott and a pub with rooms. We will be looking into this further after the board meeting.
