AMAZING FROZEN LEMONS - CURES CANCER & OTHER ILLS

I was sent an email containing the following information and a quick internet search seems to verify.

Wash a Lemon and put in the freezer till frozen then get a grater and shred the lemon (do not peel). . Sprinkle over foods - Soup, Cereals, Ice Cream, Noodles, Fish, Whisky, Wine the list is endless. The foods will have an unexpectedly wonderful taste, something that you may never have tasted before and the entire lemon can be used without any waste..

Lemon peel contains 5 - 10 times more vitamins than lemon juice itself and rejuvenates health and eradicates toxins from the body.

Lemon extract is a miraculous product that kills cancer cells and is 10,000 times stronger than chemotherapy. Laboratories are interested in making a synthetic version that will bring them huge profits. More than 20 laboratory tests since 1970 revealed that it destroys malignant cells and lemon extract was 10,000 times better than Adriamycin a chemo-therapeutic drug that slows the growth of cancer. Lemon only destroys malignant cancer cells and does not affect healthy cells. Lemon is also anti-microbial against bacterial infections and fungi and effective against internal parasites and worms, regulates high blood pressure and an anti-depressant that combats stress and nervous disorders.

The article does go on about lemon - and then seems to extend the basic idea to apply to all citrus fruit without evidence.

Those who are regular readers may remember that some citrus fruits are known to interact with a number of medicines - with sometimes important effects. These include grapefruit, its parent, the pomelo and possibly, very unfortunately in my view, the lime.

For those of us with fibromyalgia, lemon juice in water is fine but grated lemon rind is very high in oxalates which create toxins. Umm have to go back to the drawing board on that one.

It may taste nice, but I would take the other claims with a very large pinch of salt.
