blood test results

hi all just had blood tests back t4 14.1 and ths 8.40 can anyone enlighten me please on 100mg levothyroxine gp did ask tabs to do t3 but i dont think these have been done, i dont feel well at all anxiety hitting the roof, bad head etc any advice would be appreciated

Oh my goodness I'm not surprised you don't feel well. At 8.4 your TSH is way too high. For people on replacement thyroid medication, it should be much lower than that - somewhere between 1 and 2 is a good place to aim for.

Do you have an appointment to see your GP to discuss these test results? If not, you should make one as soon as possible and ask him to increase your dose to the next increment of 125 mcg.

thanks for replying yes i have an appointment on friday, i do feel really ill at the moment panic anxiety balance problems have been like it for 9 years, still not sorted but hopefully i will be one day x
