They can be taken together. Most important thing with carbimazole is to take as consistently as possible, same time every day. I take carbimazole in morning with propranolol & have breakfast half an hour later.
When I took more than 1 dose I would time it so it was taken 12 hour apart eg 08.00 & 20.00.
Propranolol should be reduced slowly if stopping.
Metamizole (Nolotil) is an antispasmodic. I suspect you mean the ever-so-easily-confused Methimazole?
Oh doctor asked to take both pills for only a month.
