I follow the STTM model of having optimal T3/T4 and take both NDT and T3, which suppress TSH. I buy my meds online and usually have a full thyroid panel done privately.
Unfortunately I recently made the mistake of allowing my TSH and T4 to be checked by a GP in the context of more general labs. Both were low, as would be expected, so of course now someone from there wants to talk to me about this on a somewhat urgent basis.
How has anyone else who has dealt with this gone about it? I'm not about to get into flat earth theory with them about this - I've seen the notes they wrote about me when I had the temerity to ask for B12 injections for pernicious anemia, lol.
Anybody else have experience with this and can advise? Thinking the best way is to just not engage.

If you are self medicating and feel well, I wouldn’t engage with them either. There’s nothing they can do but give you needless lectures about the ‘so called dangers’.
As long as your FT3 & FT4 levels aren’t over-range a low TSH becomes inconsequential, a side effect of medicating meds containing T3 combined with a sensitive pituitary.
Wow so she was 0 for 2 then. It’s almost like they recommend the opposite of what might actually make us well. Sorry that happened to you and thanks for your comment.
