I’m new to this page and have just had results from bloods being …
TSH 0.14
T4 9.2
What would this mean ?
i originally asked for bloods as i have shaky hands, and feel generally run down and very anxious and have lots of thyroid problems that run in my family.
I also have raised creatinine which is also worrying as im only 46
My EGfr was 68 but i think i was definitely dehydrated when my bloods weee taken last week I am rubbish at drinking water i mainly drink tea.
Could anyone help please i would be most grateful ☺️

Can you add the reference ranges for these test results, please? It would help the knowledgable folks here to understand whether your results are low or high or in between. Different labs have different ranges, so we can't assume.
Your TSH is slightly low in range and so is your T4. You really need a more detailed test. Usually the doctor can request T3 and antibodies when the TSH is out of range
How come the last time you posted was 10 years ago? I am just being nosy btw
Hello. Do I understand that you have never had any kind of thyroid diagnosis and are not taking any thyroid medication?
What symptoms do you have that caused a thyroid blood test? Have you recently been ill?
Are these (TSH and T4) the only tests that were done, or were they part of a wider test group?
It can be helpful for people here - who have wide experience and insights - to see ALL the test results. You can attach photos ( not containing your identification info) to your replies.
Lots of questions, sorry. But the more clear info you can give, the better advice you'll get.
Do you have any other vitamin results like ferritin, folate & D3?
Your B12 result is very low in range nd likely causing you many symptoms.
Are you vegan or vegetarian & do you eat red meat?
B12 - do you have symptoms of B12 deficiency? The reference range for B12 is very wide and cut off point too low. theb12society.com/signs-and...
If you do then you should discuss this with your doctor for further tests for Pernicious Anaemia.
If not, then start with a methyl B12 sublingual spray or lozenge for a week, then add a good B complex. Once you run out of the separate B12 just continue with the B complex.
Thanks so much for the detailed reply this real helps 🙂
The report said my T4 was normal and my TSH was too low and abnormal so I don’t understand?
I do have symptoms of most B12 deficiency but GP also marked that as normal no action ☹️
No ferritin was done although it was requested so I will ask for this again as I have had infusions in the past due to severe Endometriosis!
To be honest I don’t eat red meat and my diet isn’t too good plus I don’t drink water so it’s definitely think I need to improve my lifestyle for sure!
Your FT4 might be whats termed as 'norml' but its at the lowest end of the range and in time may need attention.
I'm sure that supplementing B12 & folate aggressively will help you a lot and if you dont eat red meat then likely its just the deficincy in dietary nutrients.
Start the stand alone B12 sublingual or spray, then the B complex then restest thyroid and the others in 3 months.
