I am an Irish girl living in Spain the past 5 years. Age 28. I’ve been feeling bloated for years always thinking I had a stomach problem or gluten allergy. Always tired. I went gluten free over a year ago.
As part of my annual health check I went and tested my thyroid as my mother has Hashimoto and I found I had some of the same symptoms . Would love some advice as I have no idea when it comes to this!
TSH - 1.05ml (0.35-4.94)
FT3 - 2.85ml (1.72-3.54)
FT4 - 0.86dl (0.7-1.48)
Vit D - 23ml (30-96)
B12 - 330ml (187-883)
Ferritin - 26ml (5-204)
Would appreciate any advice on where to go from here!

So looking at my blood tests further, I have some additional info -
TPO - 61.3ml - normal value <5.61ml (IU calibrated 66/387)
thyroglobulin - 37.2ml - normal value <4.11ml (IU calibrated 65/93)
Does this make sense?
Test was done fasting at 10am. I live in Spain so this was through my private healthcare here. I would appreciate recommendations for vitamin D, ferritin, B12 if possible.
So would you not be concerned about my basophils and eosinophils being 0.0?
also to add I had a scan of my thyroid done and the comments were the following -
Thyroid of heterogeneous size and diffuse echogeneity with small colloid cysts that do not exceed 5 mm, with smooth and well-defined edges.
The right lobe measures 15 x 15 x 53 mm.
The left lobe measures 12 x 17 x 47 mm.
There is no extension below the thorax.
There is no significant lymph node growth in the laterocervical chains.
It’s good that you're being proactive about your health. Your thyroid levels (TSH, FT3, FT4) are mostly within the normal range, but with your family history of Hashimoto's, it's worth discussing further tests with your doctor. Your Vitamin D, B12, and ferritin are on the low side, which could explain your tiredness and bloating. Consider supplementing with Vitamin D and B12, and maybe increasing iron-rich foods. Consulting with your doctor or a nutritionist about these results will help guide the next steps.
If your body is not currently fighting an infection or an allergy then numbers of some white blood cells would be low. But if you caught a cold (for example) then your numbers would rise.
Remember to pay attention to the reference ranges for any tests you get done. They will tell you whether 0 (zero) is an acceptable number for some white cells. I've had some white cells tested that came back with a zero result and in each case it was within the reference range.
Another person who is from Ireland with possible thyroid problems although your levels look within normal range. I would have a yearly thyroid function test if I was you. I am half Irish and I think I have had this disease for many years before it showed up in my blood results. My GP showed me a chart of my TSH and it was slowly sinking lower and lower over several years.
Hi, do you know you have been diagnosed with Hashimoto’s? Have you had a TPO antibody blood test in the past? Any signs of a goitre?
I have previously suffered like you feeling tired & bloated as was diagnosed with Hashimoto’s back in 2012/13. Given prescription levothyroxine over the years 75 up to 100mcg. I had a goitre which eventually required me to have a thyroidectomy about 2-years ago due to it obstructing my throat. I did have iron infusion at one point as my levels were extremely low. This helped with tiredness & stayed on iron supplements afterwards.
