Peri-m female testosterone blood test

I’m 49, peri-m, on HRT. I’m doing a fasting female testosterone blood test with Superdrug private Dr.

Do I really need to delay my NDT Armour meds to do this blood test?

Surely my testosterone will be low whether I take Armour or not? 🤔

hello, sorry it looks like you have waited a long time for a reply, I have absolutely no idea but will tag TiggerMe who is the person I’d ask.

Personally I'd take my T3 & 4 as normal for any other testing, but then I like to know what 'normal' is for me on a standard day... who suggested holding off with it?

As long as you stick to the same protocol when testing so they are comparable

I suppose because it’s a fasting hormone test. Glad to hear it doesn’t matter! I thought that too, my normal everyday is having armour at 7. Thank you!
