I take one or two small Brazil nuts every day because I have hashimoto and it was advised for selenium which is lacking in thyroid patients.
I read of someone whose doctor told them they had high levels of barium which affects memory and the doctor had no idea how you can rid the body of barium.
This is a bit concerning because I know of many with hashimoto disease who take Brazil nuts and I just purchased a kilo of organic Brazil nuts. Now I’m wondering if it’s safe and whether to go back on supplements although I prefer real food if possible. Any thoughts?
