Hello, I was just wandering about selenium in Brazil nuts. I eat two organic Brazil nuts from Brazil every day to help with hashi flares. Is this about right?
I realise it's not an exact dose like taking a supplement but I love Brazil nuts and I would rather eat these than take a tablet if possible.
Do you think this is ok?
Eating two Brazil Nuts daily is the recommended dose.
It depends which part of Brazil they come from. Check the table of selenium content of brazil nuts from different parts of the world

I think it's great. I eat organic nuts nearly every day of my life. My father was a wholesale greengrocer and I was always encouraged to eat nuts.
Years ago they were never available all year round like today. We used to sit down in the evening and crack them open. There are so easy to buy.
I eat 2 brazils 3 walnuts and 6/7 almonds every afternoon.
Although I live in France I order my organic nuts from the UK
I'm in France too and I order mine on U.K. Amazon...i look forward to my two Brazil nuts a day too😃 It is amazing that I can order nuts from the rain forest in Brazil right to my door!
