Hi again everyone

Got new results if anyone can advise please

I took the test just after 8am and took my Levo at 6am the previous day. Also split my last dose of Tiromel 12.5mcg the day before and took the last half at 9.30 pm

Going by the new calculator (impressed!) I am still low on Folate and ferritin, well,if I’m interpreting it correctly

I stopped taking Lipsomal Vit B complex a week before the test due to the biotin.Questions is,can I take more folate on top of the 400ug already in the supplement to?

Another thing is my vitamin D.I’ve now started taking 800ug plus the 3000iu BetterYou that I had been taking so that should be ok as it’s in treble figures as it is

This test has came back with high Cortisol again. The last test was the first time I had within range cortisol.I have only dropped 25mcg per week and wondering if this could cause the rise as it’s dropped to 81% through range

My T3 is at 83% so should be ok.Thing is I still have a deep fatigue with anxiety and still can’t sleep.I still get bouts of fearfulness also especially the next day after exercising on top of not sleeping.I just can’t seem to drop off

Wondering if taking another quarter of T3 would help and if it would also bring down my cortisol or would I need to up the 25mcg of Levo per week again along with it?

Many thanks in advance!

Free T4 (fT4) 20.1 pmol/L (12 - 22) 81.0%

Free T3 (fT3) 6.2 pmol/L (3.1 - 6.8) 83.8%

Generally the aim on combination therapy is to get both FT4 & FT3 to balance at around 70% of range each. I'd suggest reducing Levo slightly if anything. Having a little too much can cause just as many symptoms as not enough hormone.

111 for vit D3 is a good result. Why are you adding another 800iu? Its possible to have too much vit D3 and do harm.

Ferritin is actually a good result. Ferritin should be around 90 - 100 for best use of thyroid hormone. They have included the male range.

Have you ever had an iron panel? Its possible to have enough ferritin and low serum iron.

B12 is only just enough so you need to be sure to take it every day.

To raise folate buy a separate 400mcg methylfolate, Jarrows do one or there are other cheaper suppliers that work well.

Have you trialled a strictly gluten free diet? Many with Hashi's benefit from it.

Thanks for replying Jaydee!

I was taking roughly 5000iu BetterYou per day previously but it’s getting to expensive in the long run.So adding a capsule and dropping to the 3000iu so the spray lasts the month

I will need to go back and check my previous results as I’m sure I have gradually crept the T4/T3 up.How I’ve been feeling lately has been far better from where I was previously.

I was using 400 Methylfolate previously but stopped after adding the Vit B complex. Will get more

I have never had an iron panel that I know off. Will look in to getting a private one done soon

Tried going gluten free but find it very difficult to keep up
