hi there, I know a lot of members have tried Zoe programme.

I can’t work out how the poo test works. Do you just wait for the next poo after eating the cookies or must you poo within a certain time.

might be a daft question but it’s expensive so I want to make sure I understand it all!

No idea because I'm not enrolled on Zoe 😊 ! But it says you do need to pay for Zoe membership as well, to be able to get this test kit. So I'd assume that, as a Zoe member, you can ask your question directly through Zoe?

It’s one of the things I am thinking about so hopefully you will get some interesting feedback. I am not always ‘ready’ to do something new. However this is something I am interested in. Will be watching your replies.

For about 4 days I have been trying plant sterols in capsule form - I hoped for a an alternative to statins. OMG it’s brought back all memories of taking statins - whilst not entirely surprising I still feel shocked. Another £30 literally down the toilet.

Whilst my thyroid meds are not optimal, they have reduced my cholesterol from 9.9 to 6.4. I am under huge pressure from being gaslit by my cardiologist etc who told me to my face she could find no research that highlighted statins were not a good idea for hypothyroid patients!!

I am so beginning to understand so much more about the multiple areas that ‘metabolism’ affects us hypos that even endos seem unaware of.

You know that old trainer’s motto - KISS (keep it simple stupid). I need something like that for doctors…. KISSME (keep it simple stupid it’s metabolic).
