I have an underactive thyroid and hashimotos for 6 years now and have been on levothyroxine only for the last years. Have been prescribed liothyronine by the private endocrinologist.
I started taking teva 10 micrograms plus 100 mg of levothyroxine 6 weeks ago and my t3 is high now and t4 suppressed. Should i reduce my levo dose. I am worried now that i am taking too much. I have attached my recent blood test.
Thank you in advance.

It's your TSH that's suppressed . This is normal when taking T3, it's just what it does, it lowers FT4 and also lowers TSH to the point of suppression in some people.

It can take a lot of gradual tweaking requiring lots of patience to get the balance of Levo and T3 right for the individual to find your best balance of FT4 and FT3 to feel optimally medicated.
If your reduce your Levo then this will reduce your FT4 level and, possibly to some extent it may reduce your FT3 level as well.
What you need is to lower your FT3 level and you should do this by reducing you T3 slightly and leaving Levo as it is, your FT4 is already low in range and although this may be fine for you it's currently only 31% through range, if you go lower it may be too low for you.
So I would suggest that you try 7.5mcg T3 with your 100mcg Levo and retest in 6-8 weeks to see how you feel and how your levels have changed.
Presumably your key nutrients have been tested and all are at optimal levels:
Vit D - 100-150nmol/L
B12 - top of range for Total B12, if Active B12 is measured then over 100
Folate - at least half way through range
Ferritin - half way through range although some experts say that the optimal ferritin level for thyroid function is 90-110ug/L
Hi SeasideSusie and thank you so much for replying so quick. Really appreciate it.
Thank you for your advice, i will try to reduce it to 7.5. The only problem is i take 20 teva tablet and i cut it in half. They are not very easy to cut those tablets but I will try my best.
I just wondered if your CRP was elevated, if it was that would suggest inflammation and if so then your Ferritin would likely be raised due to inflammation too. However, your CRP is nice and low so your Ferritin is a good result.
Your B12 is good but Folate is a bit low, would be better in double figures. It might be worth supplementing with a good quality B Complex containing methylfolate, consider Thorne Basic B. Perhaps retest in 3 months to check levels and if Folate has improved enough you could maybe reduce to a maintenance dose a few days a week.
