I had Invivo GI Map after having had 2 Genova GI Effects previously. Both were useful in monitoring positive progression following a Nutritional Therapy protocol and I can provide further details if you pm me.

I would recommend using a qualified Nutritional Therapist both for the interpretation of results and for a relevant protocol.

I'm doing the Zoe programme and I have found it beneficial. Tests gut microbiomes and is focused on the gut. I have lots of gut issues and it has helped massively and I have finally managed to lose some weight on top of it all 😊

Me too was fascinating, although the advice for me to lose weight was to switch to more wheat-based products, and I'm gluten intolerant, so that was no help!

Is it very onerous? Is there a lot of weighing/ measuring of foods?

I don't find it onerous. You can log food for as long as you want. I do it as I want the best results I can.

If you message them and tell them this they can personalize it more for you as there are a lot of foods I can't eat and they were really helpful in trying to find recipes and meals that I could eat.

Hae enormous ongoing difficulties with gut sensitivities and have all my life - now manifested in a number of autoimmune conditions~

A coworker who is a natural path suggested I take the breath test for SIBO. The results were super high, she said it looked like I also had leaky gut. It is rare to fix it the first time. So I stayed dedicated to everything she recommended and strictly followed the low FODMAP diet. The phone app from Monash University in AU was a huge help at the grocery store. I can eat almost anything but try to keep to the basics. For gut health I make yogurt and ferment veggies. Ultimately, I had to give up fermenting veggies due to its high histamine levels. ~Thank you - will try a Naturopath I know and hopefully she can assist or lead me to someone who can.

I've followed FODMAP long time now + low lectin eating plan, am gluten and diary free. Just love my sauerkraut - even have small amount with my breakfast ~
