my question is my body hasn’t absorbed any T3 liothyronine since they changed my brands over & that sent my TSH level out
6 years upto Sept 2023 thybon henning 30 mg aday split into 2 doses TSH level 0.01
Jan 2024 viatris 30 mg aday split into 2 doses TSH level 48.90 changed to another brand & doctors got scared
March 2024 started Roma 10mg capsules aday I dose was doing ok so in April asked to increase to 20mg
June 2024 was having same issues with the brand my TSH level 73.10 & now having visits to A&E due to distressing symptoms of the Roma brand .
after being admitted to hospital with a TSH of untraceable I have finally been put back on 40mg aday x 2 doses & also have a back up supply due to other members help I am hugely grateful
2 weeks back on 40mg & once again my symptoms are spiked & can’t eat & palpitations & diarrhoea dry heaving but I know I’m ok with this brand could it be that it seems I haven’t been able to absorb any medication since September 2023 that I should of started back on this medication but at a lower dose then build it back up slowly please can anyone help

So, what were the FT3 levels that went with these rediculously high TSH levels? If your doctors are trying to dose T3 only by TSH then they all want shooting! And this is a very good example of why dosing by the TSH should be banned for everyone: TSH test results are not always reliable!
It is impossible to have a TSH of over 70 when taking 30 mcg T3. And saying that your body isn't absorbing any of it is also impossible because you would be dead. You cannot live without T3.
There are substances we call anti-TSH antibodies that can affect the assey and cause the TSH to be rediculously high. And if any of the people involved in the testing has just one brain cell they would have immediately tested FT4 and FT3 to find out what was going on. Your doctor, on seeing those results should have immediately ordered a retest in a different lab.

Untraceable how? Low or high? If it was so low it was untraceably low then you must have been absorbing the hormone - unless your pituitary had packed up entirely - and if it had done that I think you would have noticed in many different ways.

Well, maybe you're taking too much, now. But as it appears you haven't had a reliable test for quite some time, there's no way to know.

But you're obviously not ok on that brand, are you, if you're having all those symptoms;
Is it possible you haven't absorbed any T3 since September 2023? I really don't think it is, no. As I said, you would be dead - or a vegetable. This is not medicine like Aspirin we're talking about, it's a life-giving hormone. Absorb it or die. But it would appear that your doctors are already brain-dead to have done nothing all this time. So, what would be a really good idea right now is a private blood test that includes FT3, and see what that tells you.
OK, so your FT3 was very low there, but you were absorbing some. How much T3 were you taking at that time? How do you take your T3? Do you always take it on an empty stomach, etc. and well away from any supplements/food/medication?
How long was the gap between your last dose of T3 and the blood draw?
