I am losing weight slowly with fasting from dawn till dusk twice a week but I am constipated, have little stamina ( I can only really do one thing a day eg if I go for a swim in the morning I am wiped out for rest of the day). My memory is not very good I struggle to recall facts. Nails flake and I can only sleep for about 2 or three hours at a time ( I sleep three times in 24 hours)
I take 75 mcg levothyroxine and 50mcg of T3 ( tiromel). I inject myself with B12 once a week sometimes twice. I take vitmain D with K2 and igennous super B complex plus some magnesium at night.
I think I need to increase levo but not sure how to persaude GPs who only look at TSH. Might buy my own.

Recommended that all thyroid blood tests early morning, ideally just before 9am, only drink water between waking and test and last dose levothyroxine 24 hours before test
This gives highest TSH, lowest FT4 and most consistent results. (Patient to patient tip)
T3 ….day before test split T3 as 2 or 3 smaller doses spread through the day, with last dose approximately 8-12 hours before test
Is this how you do your tests
When did you last test folate, ferritin and vitamin D
Remember to stop vitamin B complex 5-7 days before all blood tests as contains biotin
Testing options and includes money off codes for private testing
I usually take my T3 and T4 in the morning so I left 24 hours before testing. I toke the test from medichecks early morning with no food just water. I had stopped the B complex for a week. Folate, ferritin and vitmain D tested about five months ago. I will find the results and get back to you.
Thank you. I will take an extra 25mcg of levo every other day. Not sure how to reduce T3 as come in 25mcg tablets. Maybe get a pill cutter and shave tiny bit off tablet.
