Further to my previous posts, after consultation with Roseway Labs last week the Pharmacist increased my t3 to 10ug daily (previously prescribed 5ug by Endo).
I had reduced levo to 75ug from 100ug as last bloods showed T4 at very high end of the range even though I had been on T3 for the previous 10 days and had reduced t4 from 125ug to 100ug-advised this was probably due to a Hashis flare.
I have however been experiencing bouts of weakness/faintness/dizziness, and my sleep is worse. My pulse is always normal (80pm) and I do not feel overtreated, BP this morning is 123/70.
Should I increase t4 again? Is it too soon to increase T3? I recently passed a Short Synacthen test , but many of my current symptoms feel like Adrenal fatigue…
I’m tempted to take Propranolol in the short term for the Anxiety I’m feeling ….
What would help with sleep, Are sleeping tablets effective?
Many thanks in advance

Usually it’s recommended to make small adjustments eg 5mcg lio OR 25mcg levo - increases or decreases & no quicker than every 6 weeks. Testing 6 weeks after new consistent dose will give guidance on next adjustment.
Some do tolerate faster / greater dose alterations whereas a few are more sensitive & need even slower / smaller changes.
Rushing & making too many changes can be counterproductive.
Propranolol lower uptake & conversion (you take T3, so this might not affect you significantly) but I find propranolol must be taken at set times. & lowered slowly when wish to stop.
