what are they suggesting you alternate with?

my palpitations have been narrowed down to 85-90% chocolate after 5pm 🙋🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️

Ferritin being over 120 (sorry can’t remember units).

Sugar

I’m on alternate 75/100 after a hyper swing rapid drop and very very slowly increasing since last summer and 15mcg T3 if that helps.

No your levels are not over range but how do you feel apart from palpitations? I wouldn’t drop my dose if they were my levels. When I’m over replaced, I get a bit warm and loose bowels, they are the early tells. Personally I choose to ignore a low TSH mine goes back up if I stay on the same dose long enough 🌱

I’ve felt awful since august , like life draining from me , I take heart meds aswell just trying to figure out what’s making me feel so ill

oh and… being under replaced causes palpitations for some…. My sister in law ended up with atrial fib after decades of inadequate doses of T4. 75 is only one dose up from a starter dose. I’m on that low because my FT4 went to 28 last summer FT3 went to 10 same range as yours. 🌱

If you have not changed your dose from 9th of January blood test, you actually need a new blood test as too much time has passed to make a dosing decision based on your last result.

If you are taking bisoprolol for heart, thst made me feel awful. As the others said your thyroid results do not look high enough to be likely to cause problems unless something has changed.

I would actually pay for a private test if you can , my thyroid always came back in range ! … felt terrible for years , odd days off work due to unbearable tiredness , aching muscles, dry skin on my hands , my private test was a thyroid and antibodies test by medicheck £59 .. it’s a finger pick kit … results were , yes my thyroid was in range but my antibodies are through the roof …. So took results to my GP .. now on waiting lists to see different specialist

you need to test vitamin D, folate, B12 and ferritin too

Low iron/ferritin can cause palpitations as well

Was test done as recommended

Recommended that all thyroid blood tests early morning, ideally just before 9am, only drink water between waking and test and last dose levothyroxine 24 hours before test

This gives highest TSH, lowest FT4 and most consistent results. (Patient to patient tip)

Which brand of levothyroxine are you taking

It could be brand upsetting you

Free T4 (fT4) 18.4 pmol/L (12 - 22) 64.0%

Free T3 (fT3) 5 pmol/L (3.1 - 6.8) 51.4%

Results suggest you perhaps need dose INCREASE

How much do you weigh in kilo

75mcg is only one step up from starter dose

Hello I was told by doctors that I’m just a little bit overactive ? And to alternate my daily dose 50 one day then 75 the next , I’m realy unsure on what to do

I was told by doctors that I’m just a little bit overactive

That’s because the TSH is low - all most GP’s look at

Try reducing dose ….retest in 8-10 weeks

if symptoms are worse then go back to 75mcg daily

ALWAYS test early morning, ideally before 9am, only water to drink between waking and test and last dose levothyroxine 24 hours before test

When were vitamin levels last tested

What vitamin supplements are you taking

Which brand of levothyroxine are you taking

Many people only tolerate one or two brands

Teva brand in particular upsets many people

Good advice from SlowDragon and others on thyroid but just wanted to add that bisoprolol made my heart palpitations much worse and cardiologist took me off it. I find that Hawthorn Berry, Co q10 and Magnesium Taurate are helpful in calming palpitations and ectopic beats. It would be advisable to get your magnesium level checked.

Finally, I drink no alcohol or caffeine and only a little chocolate occasionally as a treat as it contains caffeine. Caffeine can trigger heart palpitations.

Have you checked your B12, folate, ferritin and vit d levels? Are you gluten and perhaps, dairy free? What about selenium and zinc. Your thyroid levels are really good so I wouldn't alter the dose of these.

Free T4 (fT4) 18.4 pmol/L (12 - 22) 64.0%

Free T3 (fT3) 5 pmol/L (3.1 - 6.8) 51.4%

Her Thyroid levels not very good …..many people would find that level of Ft3 far too low
